The sorrow of rebirth

(This is just a rough version of the story so dont mind the lack of explaining and the typos)

*In the middle of a forest lies a crystal. This crystal is not like any other because it is believed to be a holy crystal and the embodyment of an ancient goddess. On certain ocassions during the year there is a cloud covering the wholle forrest and the city at the edge of it. Some say it is the goddess in the crystal that is sorrowfull, some say its a blessing given by her. Because of the rain water during those time the village has never been sick or lacking food and water. The children, nor the elder know why the goddess has been incased in the crystal. But they feel her presence inside, like a warmth that pierces the very soul. Whille the area where the crystal is sealed of by the elders, the children have always been curious about it and never afraid to sneak in there to pray for her. Each time they pray they feel the warmth even stronger, only this time as if it was enveloping them in a hug.*
The story starts with a young boy in love with a girl the same age. He was in charge of helping the adults with their job so he was sometimes free to do what he wanted. On the other hand she was occupied most of the day, tending to the kitchen with her mom . During those times he usualy stands outide the kitchen window and talks to her. At first she was to shy to talk to him, but as the months went by they got closer and more in love with each other. Then one day...
-Hey....heyyyy......you know you cant sleep there.*he slowly opens his eyes and sees his love next to him*
-.....Why not, Alesa.....the other workers are resting over there.
-YOU just cant. Remember, you have other things you need to finish up.*she says with a small blush on her cheaks*
He looks down at the ground whille she was talking to him, thinking to himself what it was she ment. Geting up on his feet he lifts his head about to say something before he looks her in the eyes. It dawns to him what Alesa was talking about and gives her a smile back.
-Yeah, i remember.*he leans and whispers into her ear* Wouldnt miss this day for anything.
*she whispers back* -Not for anything?*having a confused look in her eyes*
- No, not even death could make me miss... our special day.*Alesa gigles and runs of to do her chores, after a few steps she turns around and waves good bye, he does the same. He looks up to the clear blue sky, his heart racing with excitement. One of the workers wakes up and notices the teen aboutt o walk away*
- So done with our work for today are we? Going to leave us old men to finish of our work arent we? Young ones today. Why when i was your age i had a lot of work every day fixing things, NEVER a dull moment around here.* the grey bearded worker says to the teen, before he is interupted by another worker who just woke up*
-Yeah, but you werent in love like this kid here when you were his age. Go kid, we will do the rest. Dont be slacking tho.*This coment pissed the older worker of and they started to yell at each other for a whille, whille he was walking away from them they stoped yelling and you could hear laughter instead. Old friends, known each other since they were children. Still in the same village, he thinks to himself. Will he also be stuck in there for the rest of his life, maybe it wouldnt be that bad. At least he has a reason to stay. The sky slowly turns dark, signaling night and time for everything to stop for today and rest. Time, he usualy spends with his love in the forest where the crystal is. Tonight was a special day, away from anyone else, they could celebrate their birthday together. Seventeen years old they both were. At the clearing in the forest, where the crystall of the goddess, was their special place. When he reaches that place, he first sees Alesa there, placing a small basket in their usual spot. Slowly walking up to her, making no sound he stops behind her.*
-I hope im not missing the celebration.*she quickly turns around*
- You know i dont like it when you startle me, you hear.
-Sorry, i just couldnt help it.*he places his arms around her*
(this part im a litle stuck on atm, so il skip writing it down. But baiscly they sit down and spend some time celebrating)

- But you know, today isnt just a special day we have once a year. I was thinking of making this a very special day of our life. This is kinda embaressing to say but will you-
*he is interupted by a loud sound coming from one of the trees behind them. The sound of rustling bushes start coming closer and closer, untill a big lizard man apears among them. Covered in cuts and bleeding,a sinister look in his eyes notices the couple near the bright blue crystal formation. A short pause and it starts runing toward them with a loud schriek coming from it. The teen pushes Alesa away, whille taking out the hunting knife hanging around his waist. He lunges at the creature like a ferocious animal, trying depesratly to protect himself, but more importantly, his love. He finds an opening and takes it, the knife breaks, his face turn pale before he is knocked away with the creatures tail. It hurt, it really hurt, his ribs are crushed, his organs ruptured as well. Reaching the ground makes him cough up blood, whille the creature slowly walks toward him liking its bloody hands, from the teens and someone elses. An apple is seen flying at it and cracks open in the lizardmans head. It turns around to see a girl throwing things at it, stunned for a second it slowly starts to get agitated and walking toward the girl. She swings his arms at her, it misses but the girl falls backwards and end up with her back to the big crystal. 2 meters is separating her from the creature, it swings its arm, she closes her eyes and screams. The sound of flesh being torn is heard and she opens her eyes. Flesh is split open from the shoulder down to the heart, she can see it clearly in front of her. The person in front of her says nothing and is pushed aside like he was a doll, no emotions left in it. She is shocked, shaking, covered in blood, the crystal behind her as well.It takes her a litle to notice it was her love that protected her, her tears start to flow like a river. The creature starts to walk toward her to finish her of. She opens her eyes and looks up, still crying, to see the creature looking down on her and is about to kill her. But it is stoped by an arrow to the back, yelling can be heard coming from nearby as 10 or more armed soldiers apear from the forrest after the creature. It runs, the soldiers run after it, but some stay to cheak up on the girl who starts to crawl toward the dead body of her love. The teen still barelly alive sees everything, the world thru his eyes seem to become slowly silent, he can see Alesa yelling, but no sound. His eyes slowly becoming darker untill nothing exists no more. He dies, with a small smile on his face, knowing he failed do save himself, but maneged to save what maters the most to him. His dear Alesa.

(and this is where this part of the story ends, but not the wholle story, the rest is a bit of a secret atm, as im trying to write down the ideas i had....writing it all down whille kinda sleepy so sorry for the weird text, its just a rough quick version. Planing to fix it some day.)
